Self awareness lessons from coach & world champion Laura Spiridovitsh

Self-awareness is the compass of your life. And that’s exactly why we should teach self-awareness more intentionally in university programs!

That’s what Laura Spiridovitsh and I discussed last week. She’s writing her master’s thesis on the topic and explores the importance of self-awareness in practice—something she has benefitted throughout her career, winning several gold medals both as an athlete and as a coach.

Understanding why I think the way I do also helps me understand others. It makes both our personal and professional lives better.

And please challenge our ideas in the comments to help us teach better!
